A car crashed outside a barber in Bournemouth, leaving a person with spinal injuries.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the parade of shops on Ringwood Road, Bournemouth on Wednesday morning.
The silver car drove through the front of the Hair Studio, causing extensive damage to the premises.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: ‘We were called at 8.48am on Wednesday 14 July to report that a car had collided with a shop window on Ringwood Road in Bournemouth. Officers attended the scene with fire and ambulance services.
“One person sustained a spinal injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing. Two other people were treated at the scene.”
A spokeswoman for the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We were called to Ringwood Road, Bournemouth at 8:57 am this morning after reports that a car had struck a business premises.
“Two teams were present, from Redhill Park and Poole; no one was trapped but firefighters helped treat the injured three people. Our stop was at 9.45am.”
A neighbor said he heard a “huge crash” before running to investigate. They told the Daily Echo that people were at the hairdressers at the time.
They added: “Police and firefighters arrived very quickly and evacuated the whole building.
The resident said the incident was “very shocking”.
