There is a certain degree of funny irony

In Pats, fans get a glimpse of this unique Tom Brady talent where he completely deflates a crowd and fan base with an easy third conversion for 4-5 yards longer than they needed. The Patriots have done it so many times to so many teams. That third down conversion earlier was pure Tom Brady and it calmed down Gillette Stadium in a way only a visiting Tom Brady can.

Tom Brady rushes for 6 yards

Tom Brady has just somehow walked 6 yards in 3rd and 6. No idea how he got this far without getting hit.

The Patriots take the lead

Mac Jones led the Patriots on a 7-for-7 workout that ended with Jonnu Smith catching a play pass from the wide open 1-yard line into the end zone.

Jones has now made 16 consecutive assists.

Observation of Jonnu Smith!

That’s what we’ve all been expecting from the Patriots in August – Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry scoring touchdowns (that’s right, that was with visions of Cam Newton as a quarterback, but we’ll take it). Maybe this is the game that starts a series of them with the tight ends in evidence.

… because then the question becomes: which one do you want in fantasy?

By the way, the Pats went down to +120 on BetMGM

Bucs regain lead from Jones touchdown

Ronald Jones rushes for 8 yards into the end zone to give the Bucs a 13-7 lead over the Pats. Tight end Cameron Brate had a nice block on the edge and Ali Marpet also had a good block to lead Jones into the end zone.

With this Bucs score, the Pats are now +360 at BetMGM

It is always a game “at your fingertips”. It’s still a bit long, but it still looks closer than +360

Fournette up to 77 yards

Leonard Fournette is having a good night in the rain and has up to 77 rushing yards. The Bucs may want to stick with the run here, as the passing game isn’t doing much right now.

The Pats are currently +260 to win this match

I understand there’s a lot of play left, and it’s Tom Brady, and blah blah blah. But the Pats are up 7-6 and have looked more impressive than the Bucs so far – admittedly the handling of the game has been boring, but Mac Jones has been crisp and precise and the running game seems to be on the line. point of being long breakout or screen at one point.

The O / U is currently 33.5, for anyone who cares. We’re in the rain, it was a trivial game – and we ask them more than double the production of the whole game in the fourth quarter?

They are experienced coaches

Another record is broken … but not by Tom Brady this time.

90s football

This game reminds me of the NFL in the 1990s, when each team would run the ball three yards on every first try. Lots of punches. Lots of painful coaching decisions.

And that’s why Arena Football was popular back then. Now the NFL is essentially outdoor arena football.

Bucs force escaped

JJ Taylor grabbed a small screen from Mac Jones and quickly spat it out because Antonine Winfield Jr. put her helmet on the ball. Richard Sherman retrieved the ball and this suddenly sleepy play has a little more energy with Tom Brady retrieving the ball.

The Patriots lead 7-6 and Tampa Bay has the ball to start the second half.

Succop adds another field goal

Ryan Succop had a 44-yard field goal to reduce the Patriots’ lead to 7-6 just before halftime. Tom Brady led the Bucs on the field with a few assists to Chris Godwin, but the offense stalled.

Mac Jones has the quietest 130 passing yards in first-half history

Good for him, in the rhythm for a very good match in the rain against a legend who has just established an overtaking record. But it’s like one of those times you go to the store and think you’ve spent $ 40 but go to checkout and it’s $ 92.

I bet Brady comes out in the second half.

Carlton Davis pulls the hamstrings

Carlton Davis pulled his hamstrings on cover for the punt returns. This means the three Tampa Bay starters at the back of the corner are now injured and not playing in their game.

Game of tricks!

It was a relatively boring game and maybe the Pats knew it. Brandon Bolden was one failed block from a first down, maybe more. I love that Bolden is so involved in this game. I wonder if he’s going to be a Top 2-3 target on waivers this week, because “the new James White” _ the fantastic players were burned before passing the priority waivers on Bolden, so it will be interesting. If Damien Harris has more than a bruised thing, it might get interesting

It looks great. I’m totally up for anything for Jonathan Majors now, after Lovecraft Country (he was awesome) and Loki (he was amazing)

Bucs still favored in live betting

The Patriots are 2.5-point underdogs despite a 7-3 lead late in the second quarter and have the ball right now. They are +110 on the money line at BetMGM.

Where’s Chris Godwin?

Chris Godwin has a reception for a yard and we’re almost halfway. Lots of Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette and Mike Evans so far. But Godwin was generally absent. Maybe that was the game he took into account – it happened to Mike Evans in Week 1 and it’s generally believed that this offense can’t fully involve their Big 3 receivers every week.

Patriots lead 7-3

Hunter Henry caught an 11-yard pass from Mac Jones to put the Patriots ahead. It was an impressive practice from Jones as New England overcame two penalties to keep the ball moving on the field.

It’s probably the first time people have watched Mac Jones and it’s easy to forget that the Bucs have one of the best defenses in the NFL when they assess what the rookie quarterback looks like.
