Vaccinated at first sight: MAFS bride Selina Chhaur receives her second Covid shot during filming… as her ‘marriage’ to Cody Bromley hangs by a thread

Production company Endemol Shine imposed a Covid-19 vaccination mandate for all cast and crew during this year’s season of Married at First Sight.

And some of the contestants even got vaccinated while filming in Sydney to meet the show’s requirements, including Selina Chhaur.

The hairdresser, 32, was seen receiving her second Covid hit in the city on October 13 – around the time the scenes now being shown on TV were being filmed.

Participants also had to undergo compulsory Covid tests every 48 hours and wear masks when the cameras were not rolling.

For security reasons, the stars were accompanied by guards during breaks in filming. This included when they went out for their hourly exercise and to run errands.

For the first time, the show’s cast and crew were also driven around in black-tinted luxury cars rather than taking taxis and Ubers.

Each couple was assigned a designated driver and no carpooling was allowed.

Selina opted out of Married at First Sight during the commitment ceremony on Sunday, but to her surprise, her “husband” Cody Bromley opted to stay.

This means they must stay in the experiment for another week.

Selina had voted to leave because she felt Cody had emotionally checked out their relationship, so she was surprised when he indicated he wanted to give things another shot.

It remains to be seen if they can get their “marriage” back on track.

Married at First Sight continues Monday at 7:30 p.m. ohn Channel Nine and 9Now
