Is Martha Stewart a cheating hairdresser?
On Fridays, the domestic dean posted lots of pictures showing himself getting a haircut from the famous Frederic Fekkai.
“@fredericfekkai has been cutting my hair for over thirty five years,” she wrote alongside the movies. “He’s also an old friend, a business colleague (he served on my board) and we recently had the opportunity to revisit the past on a plane trip from Los Angeles. invited her back to her bustling hair salon at @themarkhotelny where we had a great time and I had another fabulous “haircut by Frederic! PS I took my mask off just for these pics!!!!” !!!!!”
Disturbingly, less than two weeks ago, Stewart, 80, posted several photos of her get a haircut from – another famous hairstylist – John Barrett.
Next to these photos, she was ecstatic: Yesterday when I came back from a short trip I was in a hurry to have my hair cut! In other words cut for a natural and stylish look without fuss @johnbarrettnyc it’s so good! He’s been cutting my hair for a very long time and his new luxury salon on East 57th Street is so spacious, modern and beautiful – offering color, cuts, lashes and the best manicures and pedicures.
Surprisingly, Barrett is at peace with this scissors betrayal.
“Martha, a style icon, does so much for our industry,” he wrote to Page Six when asked if he was devastated. “She basically lets the world know that salons are back and thriving. She’s been supporting me for years and she’s a good friend! It’s perfect!”
The lifestyle guru recently made headlines for revealing she had split with Sir Anthony Hopkins, 84, after starring in the 1991 thriller ‘The Silence of the Lambs’.
Stewart revealed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that she couldn’t separate the Welsh actor from his creepy character of Dr Hannibal Lecter who feasted on the corpses of his victim.
