THERE IS nothing worse than leaving the hairdresser and being disappointed with your new hair.
And a woman knows how it feels, but she was devastated when things went from bad to worse when she tried to take matters into her own hands.
Jessica Anne was left very disappointed after leaving a hair salon with a bad perm, which she said made her hair “frizzy”.
But in hopes that she could adapt to the bad job, Jessica used a DIY chemical treatment at home.
Much to Jessica’s dismay, things quickly went from bad to worse, as she accidentally fried her hair.
Using chemical treatments on your hair at home can be a huge gamble – either you’ll get the desired result, or you’ll experience an abrupt loss.
And that’s exactly what happened to Jessica when she decided to remove the wrong perm herself.
Hair straightening is a permanent straightening treatment that relies on chemicals to break down strands of hair, which can lead to serious damage if not used correctly.
And that’s exactly what happened to Jessica – in her TikTok video she showed how her hair was falling out in clumps after using the treatment.
Jessica was stunned and asked the others for advice on what to do.
Jessica said: “So a few months ago I had a really bad perm.

“I mean, it was really bad. Like frying my hair. He didn’t actually perm it, he just turned it into horrible, frizzy hair.
“So I waited a few months, did a lot of hair treatments on it, and decided I was going to try and pull off that perm.
“I took a relaxer, only left it on for a few minutes, but started rinsing it out.”
Jessica then turns the camera to the sink, where there is a huge clump of hair that has fallen out from using the relaxer.
“It’s just a lump. It’s bad. I’m afraid what my hair will look like in a minute.”
Jessica shows her hair and laughs at the seriousness of her situation.
She tugs at her hair, over which other clumps of hair fall, as she says, “It’s falling”
“Oh my God, what did I do? »
TikTok users were shocked and took to the comments to offer advice.
One user wrote: “Girl you can’t put a relaxer on the perm like that. I would definitely go to a REPUTABLE stylist to see if they can help you. Look at the reviews lol.”
Another added: “Girl I fried my hair before it was rough.”
A third commented: “Honey. Omg no. I want to cry for you. As a retired hairstylist…shave and invest in a nice wig that will make you feel like a 10/10.”
A fourth said: “OMG you need to go to a local stylist because as a cosmetologist I would recommend a deep cleansing treatment for your hair.”
