Leith Walk and the surrounding area has welcomed a wave of new independent businesses over the past year and the latest addition to one of Edinburgh’s longest streets seems like a must visit.
Nott Edinburgh appeared at a former hairdresser on Leith Walk (DNA Hairdressing), bringing in fine wine, cheese (with vegan options!), Cold cuts and Turkish specialties.
Despite a fairly low-key opening, there is already a buzz around the new wine bar and delicatessen, with people almost constantly seated at the outdoor tables at the Crighton Place venue.
Inside though, the decor is really something to see. Sleek blue chairs sit against a marble bar top with an illuminated straight ‘N’ neon adorning the space above the beverage station. The tables are stashed towards the back of Nott, perfect for a wine and charcuterie evening with friends.

As for the plant-based friends, don’t worry, there’s a whole selection of vegan cheeses and treats – they’re for everyone.
The real talking point, however, are the huge counters filled to the brim with endless meats and cheeses – with even more cold cuts hanging from the ceiling.
There’s no need to sit down – Nott will cut up a selection for you to enjoy at home, but you’ll find us perched at the bar.
